Ingredients:

jar of pesto base from CSA box (2 cups fresh basil, 1 cup fennel fronds, 3 cloves garlic and 1/2 cup olive oil)

1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 pound green beans cut into 1 inch pieces

1 pound potatoes cubed

1 pound pasta of choice

Boil the pasta according to package directions.  While the water is boiling prep beans and potatoes.  Pulse nuts and cheese in a food processor until desired consistency.  Add the jar of pesto base to the nut and cheese mixture.  Salt and pepper to taste and add a little olive oil if the mixture seems too dry. When there are 3- 4 minutes remaining in the pasta cook time add the beans and potatoes to the water.  Drain the water from pasta, beans and potatoes when ready and toss immediately with pesto, beans and potatoes.  Serve with crusty bread.
